Privacy policy
This policy explains how [Business name] (ABN [ABN]), trading as afterclick ("we", "us"), collects and handles your personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
| When you… | We collect |
|---|---|
| Request a free ad edit | Your name, email, business name, website or social handle, industry, what you want to promote, where the ad will run, and the video clips you upload. |
| Take the growth check | Your answers. If you ask for a review, also your name, email and business. |
| Use the contact form | Your name, email and message. |
| Browse the site | Basic technical data from your browser. [If you add Meta Pixel or Google Analytics: say so here and link to their policies.] |
Video footage may show other people. By uploading it you confirm you have their permission (see our free ad edit terms).
Why we use it
- To make and deliver your free ad edit.
- To reply to you and send the recommendation or review you asked for.
- To follow up about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying "stop" or using the unsubscribe link.
- To improve our website and offers.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use your footage for anything other than your edit unless you give us written permission.
Where it's stored
We use trusted services to run the business:
- Google (Sheets and Gmail) for enquiry records and email.
- Dropbox for uploaded footage.
- [Booking tool, e.g. Cal.com, if added]
These providers may store data on servers outside Australia, including the United States. We choose providers with strong security practices and only share what they need to provide their service.
How long we keep it
Raw footage is deleted [90] days after we deliver your edit, unless you become a client or ask us to keep it. Enquiry records are kept for as long as they're useful for following up, then deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email [contact email] and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first. If we can't resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
